Raising Bar Frets

Back in "The Day" a lot of manufacturers used bar frets instead of the more modern T-fret.  Since a bar fret is the same width as the fret slot you can glue shims into the slots to raise them.  The frets will then be a suitable height to level and recrown.  Hows that for raising the bar.
